Brill! Even better than "Battle of the 2 richards"

Hey Vishal!
In case you hadn't realised, this is Martin Sears!
Very good movie man... I like these sorts of things with deeper meanings and stuff!
What I really loved though was the style and animation. For most of it I was thinking "He's done a very good job making it look 3D", but when it came to the bit with the big crazy sun-clock thing rotating, I thought "ok, he's taking the piss now"
so did you actually use some kind of funky 3D add-on software, or did you just use normal 2D flash and put it down to your artistic abilities... if its the latter, I am very impressed and a teeny tiny bit jealous.
Anyway, it'd be good to hear how you made everything look so smooth and shiny... I could do with some tips in that department... my stuff is still very cartoony, although it has progressed since the days of "akeshes hair lotion"
anyway speak to you soon... i have my own flash animation to make... im putting all my stuff on a site too so I'll give you the address when its done! Laters mate!

supafly50 responds:

martin! yeh i did use a 3D application - swift 3D, although i'm still tryin to get used to it... but yeh, i'll speak to u soon man, thanks for ur post!

superb

possibly the best one yet.

i particularly liked the car sequence... some top notch animation there

Knox responds:

newgrounds is being gay right now!im having a hard time responding to these reviews because newgrounds has been slow latley!thanks though!

shotgun-tastic

these seem to get funnier each time, which is weird, cos im not watching them in the same order you made them!

violent yet strangely amusing. its always fun to see a piece of plastecine get shot whilst climbing up a chest of drawers.

Knox responds:

awesome!thanks, that part was kind of hard

im loving this

i just watched bar fight which was quality, but this was better.

firstly, the animation was great. the little details, like the way Leon moves his arms when he talks, and so on, makes it very professional. its making me want to try clay animation. i have done some quite good lego animations, but i cheated, cos for the characters i just took a few photos and then animated them on top of the background layer. It saves time, and file size, but doesnt have the same clean feel to it. (i even made a lego game using this method.)

i can see you have loads of patience and a cracking sense of humour. im now gonna go watch some more of your movies. im sure they will be wicked too.

Knox responds:

thanks alot!its cool getting a review from you, your lego game was awesome(i hope im leaving a response to the right person,ha ha)

claytastic

i love these sorts of movies which are done using a webcam. they have such an nice different feel to them which makes a change from looking at drawn graphics. thats why im a big fan of lego animations too.

i thought it was all great, even the amusing voices. kind of made the little clay people sound like they were bored, even though they were being attacked by chainsaws and what not.

these sorts of animations take ages to make dont they. all that copying and pasting of photos into flash gets very monotonous, so well done for haviong the patience to create something longer than 5 seconds.

QUALITY STUFF MATE.

Knox responds:

actually i use a computer program with a feature thats made for stop motion, thanks webcam flashs rule!

oh you funny fucker

these get better each time! so many good observations and spoofs! beep beep beep beep! LOL! no! i havent finished what i was saying! ok now you can go to beep beep! hahaha bloody hilarious! and the chris tarrant thing! the biggest laugh was at the end with the squashed credits! this is so my humour mate!

oh yeh, one thing! why is it 21?? surely if there are 2 minutes each and its on for an hour there will be 20 episodes! just wondering!

Friz responds:

It's called 21 because each episode is 3 minutes long, and there is seven in total. 3 x 7 = 21. And thanks for the positive reveiw. Why, oh why won't Newgrounds put this in a ''series'' category?! Anyway, three more episodes to go until the finalé. Lovely stuff.

errr

dude, that was poor

The-Mercenary responds:

Well, at least i tried. I know it was. I was just making fun fo my friend.

hohoho

that was quite funny, but i really liked the voices... i also liked the idea of having separate voices coming out of separate speakers... it was quite effective. good job mate

seanjames responds:

Thanks, I'm gald you enjoyed it. I take it you're from somewhere in London as well, mate. (or Australia I suppose) Nah, London sounds better.

very enjoyable

that was very well done... it always looks good when its in the original bitmap style rather than drawn. it was funny too

thedingelator responds:

wow thanks.

quality

that was a very good idea... i like the way the whole thing took place inside a gameboy screen... very good concept. could have been funnier though! i'd like to see another one

asshole2 responds:

Funnier.....sniff......you wot get my toys anymore....your mean......:-p kidding....thanks

Hello there fellow Flash fans! Hope you enjoy my work that I've submitted. If you do, please leave a review cos I love to read them!
